: : Rehabilitation for stroke : :

Most of us know what is the stroke all about,..
According to the statistic, stroke is the number three killer in Malaysia after heart disease and cancer.
In this post, I proudly want to share some information regarding the stroke and what the action should be taken regarding this condition.
First of all, I would to brief about the stroke.

Stroke is a corruption of the blood supply to brain, which are may caused by
blockage by blood clot ( Ischemic Stroke) or burst of blood vessel (Hemorrhagic Stroke)

A little bit info about this two types of stroke,

  1. Ischemic Stroke
- blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain is blocked by a blood clot.
- may also be caused by blood clots that form in the heart or other parts of the body which means clots travel through the blood and can get stuck in the small arteries of the brain

     2. Hemorrhagic Stroke
- occurs when the blood vessel in part of the brain becomes weak and bursts open, causing blood to leak into the brain

Both types may result one-sided paralysis or hemiplegia. The side affected is depends on the brain damaged and the seriousness of the effect also depends on how critical the brain affected.
usually, Hemorrhagic stroke is worse than the Ischemic stroke, but it is still depends on the brain cells affected
